About the client

Saïd Business School is part of the University of Oxford. The School offers a wide range of courses, such as undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, MBAs and short executive courses, attracting high-flying and ambitious students, entrepreneurs and CEOs from across the world.

The School’s website attracts millions of visitors each year.


The challenge

The School’s Marketing team approached me to help with a major website refresh. The aim was to reduce 11,000 pages to just a few hundred pages and produce crisp and engaging content to promote the School’s programmes to new audiences.


The solution

As part of this project, I turned around a high volume of work to very tight timescales, working closely with the in-house team to manage conflicting priorities and a huge amount of content. My client was delighted with the website, which showcases this fantastic school to full effect.

Since then, I’ve been regularly asked to help out on other projects by the School’s Marketing team and other departments across the University of Oxford. These projects have included rewriting 150 associate fellow profiles and editing undergraduate blogs.
