Property copywriting
The property market is tough right now. With the cost-of-living crisis and cautious buyers, each property listing must work harder than ever to stand out.
As an experienced property copywriter, I craft words that cut through a crowded market, capture attention and help drive more sales.

My copy makeover (Before and after)
Here’s a short extract from a property brochure I rewrote for a high-street estate agent.
Original content from the client
The historic city of Lincoln offers a wide range of amenities such as shops, restaurants, schools, university and cultural and leisure pursuits, including the quaintly historic Cathedral Quarter and beautiful Bailgate area.
Lincoln train station has a direct train to London (Kings Cross from 120 minutes).
Nearby leisure pursuits include the nearby Whisby Nature Reserve and various walking trails at the River Witham.
The copy makeover
Lincoln is one of the country’s finest medieval cities, with a beautiful cathedral and castle alongside cobbled streets and individual shops. The Cornhill Quarter is perfect for a spot of retail therapy, with many high-street brands, as well as fantastic restaurants and coffee shops.
Lincoln is also within easy reach of beautiful countryside, with nature trails at Whisby Nature Reserve and endless walking and cycling routes nearby. There are direct trains to London from Lincoln in two hours.

Local SEO is essential for agents and builders. I’ll optimise your content with carefully researched keywords and phrases designed to improve your online visibility in search engines and rank competitively in search engine results and AI search.
Social media marketing for estate agents and builders
Alongside my work as a property copywriter, I can help you attract more buyers and sellers through strategic social media marketing that increases your visibility and keeps your properties in front of the right audiences. I can help you with strategy, content creation, community engagement and more.
If you’d prefer to manage this in-house, I can offer social media training that gives your team the skills, confidence, and practical knowledge to turn social media into a powerful sales tool for your business.
I'm proud to work as a property copywriter for many clients. See just a few examples below.
Helping Fine & Country properties stand out in a competitive market
Fine & Country is one of the UK’s leading estate agencies, known for marketing premium homes across the country.
For the past two years, I’ve worked with the Lincolnshire team to create online content and brochure copy that brings each property’s strengths to life. I look beyond generic descriptions and tired property clichés to uncover what makes each home distinctive, then shape those details into engaging copy that connects with prospective buyers. The result is memorable property marketing that captures attention, generates greater interest, and helps buyers imagine themselves living in the home.
Despite a challenging market, the Lincolnshire team have achieved impressive results during our collaboration, with a number of luxury properties attracting strong buyer interest and securing sales within days of coming to market.
Palmer & Partners estate agents: transforming leads into sales
This Suffolk and Essex estate agency brought me in to strengthen its email marketing after valuations. I created persuasive follow-up emails designed to keep prospects engaged, reinforce the agency’s value and turn more valuations into instructions.
The new results-driven emails are helping Palmer & Partners increase new client sign-ups. This marketing work has contributed to recent business growth, with a new office opening in Cheltenham recently.
Humberts: a website revamp for a high-street estate agent
I was brought in by this national estate agent to revamp their website, working with the residential, rural, commercial, and rental teams to create bold new content aligned with their new visual identity.
Tucker Joinery: where craftsmanship meets copy
When your work is built on quality craftsmanship, your marketing needs to reflect it. Find out how I helped Tucker Joinery take their marketing up a gear with compelling website copy that showcases their expertise, highlights the value of bespoke joinery and gives potential customers a clear reason to choose them.
D&N Construction: building stories that last
D&N Construction, one of Salisbury’s leading builders, wanted a new website that showcased its many successful projects across the city, particularly listed-building renovation.
The new website positions the business as a trusted, experienced local building firm. Following on from this successful collaboration, D&N Construction has asked me to help with several other marketing projects.
