Bringing this amazing local charity to a wider audience
Salisbury Hospice provides critical care to 1,000 patients with life-limiting conditions every year. Like many hospices, Salisbury Hospice Charity relies heavily on local fundraising and donations, so a strong digital presence is crucial.
I was brought in to lead content creation for the new website. This project was close to my heart, as I’ve seen first-hand the important role the hospice plays in our local community.
What I delivered
The charity’s existing site was difficult to navigate and overwhelmed visitors with information. Many team members had contributed web content over the years, so the details were inconsistent and confusing. We had two main objectives for this project:
- make it easier for potential donors and fundraisers to understand and support the hospice’s work
- provide clear, accessible information for patients and their families.
The impact
We created engaging content that fulfilled both objectives. The hospice team was thrilled with the results, and most importantly, they now have a website that truly conveys the amazing work they do in Salisbury and the surrounding area.
