St Brides Partners: A case study

I teamed up with Social Elements, a social media agency, to design and deliver a bespoke training day for St Brides Partners.

About the client

St Brides Partners is a PR and marketing consultancy for businesses looking to access, and raise their profile across, the financial markets. The agency works predominantly with clients in the natural resources (mining) and technology sectors.

St Brides has a dedicated social media team that manage more than 30 accounts across their client businesses. The team are already doing a great job but they wanted to find new ways to harness the latest trends and optimise reach and engagement on their client accounts.

Mining is a very crowded marketplace and investors often struggle to find the right investment. So, St Brides wanted to find new ways to help differentiate their clients from their competitors. All of this needs to be achieved within the tightly regulated frameworks for financial PR and marketing.

 

What we delivered

St Brides approached us to provide some dedicated training following a social media audit I’d completed for them in 2022.

Working with Lisa and Jo from Social Elements, I designed and delivered a bespoke training programme – drawing on the specialist skills of each of the trainers.

The day had a very practical focus – with interactive exercises, quizzes and case studies to help embed learning and understanding.

The training covered a range of topics, including:

  • strategic social media management
  • how to make effective use of company pages on LinkedIn
  • optimal posting schedules and timings
  • the latest platform trends
  • creating compelling content for social
  • tactics to maximise engagement
  • measuring success on social media
  • social media tools
  • paid advertising on LinkedIn.

 

The results

The team took away clear action points that they could put into practice immediately. They left feeling more knowledgeable about the latest trends and the best social media tools.

The team took on board our recommendations for enhancing their visuals and short-form video.

Following our recommendations, they are now looking to use LinkedIn Live for CEO Q&A sessions to help them raise the profile of senior leaders within their clients’ businesses.
