The Courtauld Institute of Art

The brief

The Courtauld is one of the world’s most prestigious art institutions. Located in the heart of London, it’s also home to one of the UK’s finest art collections.

I was brought in to produce The Courtauld’s undergraduate prospectus, turning raw background information into clear, engaging copy for students. The original content was comprehensive but convoluted and written in an academic style. The content had also been compiled by different programme teams, resulting in inconsistent messaging.

My role was to craft a compelling narrative, sharpen the language, and make the messaging more accessible and consistent without losing key information. By stripping out duplication and focusing on what matters to prospective students, I created high-impact content that brings the Courtauld’s strengths to life – from its world-leading teaching and research to its exceptional art collections.

The results

The Courtauld’s Marketing team were delighted with the results, and they’ve since commissioned me to produce their new postgraduate brochure.
