Every year, Salisbury Hospice provides vital care for 1,000 people with life-limiting conditions from across the Wiltshire area. The hospice is reliant on fundraising and generous donations from people in the local community. It is a cause very close to my heart.
So, I’m extremely proud to have taken the lead on web content for the charity’s new website.
The old site was difficult to use and the pages were very ‘text heavy’ and not engaging for a reader. I worked closely with the marketing team to create clear, concise and engaging copy that served two main functions: to raise awareness of the charity’s fundraising efforts but also to provide important information on the hospice for patients and their families.
The result is a user-friendly, professional website that has helped the charity to ‘up their game’ and bring them in front of new audiences of potential fundraisers and donors, as well as providing an information hub for patients.
